Everyone at Larson's, especially Pete, are so professional and knowledgeable. Fantastic to go to a place that doesn't treat ladies like they're incompetent and just speaks honestly about what is needed to be repaired. Always ready to answer any questions to clarify.
Took my Toyota in and he looked over the issues I had noticed and found some other issues I was not aware of. Very honest on what needed to be repaired right away and what could wait if I needed to do so. Had everything done and my car runs like new. Been back for routine maintenance and repairs as needed. Always pleased! Recommend highly for honesty, knowledge, price, trust and just a wonderful shop for you and your car. So much better than the dealership in every way! - Kate K (5 star review found on Yelp)
If you're looking for someone to take care of your automotive needs then look no further. Pete and his staff are extremely helpful and honest. I needed my brakes looked at in fear of needing some work done and received a call from Pete himself with advice on next steps. They went above and beyond in checking the rest of the vehicle and letting me know what recommendations they had. I will be going back to Larson's for any of my auto repair needs. - Amanda A (5 star review found on Yelp)
If you are looking for a great mechanic and a professional auto repair shop, then Larson's is your place. Pete is not only a good mechanic, he is a standup business owner. He helped me get my truck up and running after several different issues arose. He made sure that not only was my truck taken care of, but he also made sure that I was taken care of as well. And for that I am very grateful. His prices are well within reason and I will for sure be back with all of my families vehicles when or if the time arises. I feel like I now have a mechanic I can trust and depend on. - Chris G (5 star review found on Yelp)
I happened to luck out when I found Larson's. My car needed a few things done, and I was aware of some existing problems that it had. My car was leaking and over heating. I was able to manage the problem temporarily by continuing to fill the radiator with coolant. I knew i also had a slow oil leak... I just didn't know where it was coming from, but it wasn't causing problems so it wasn't high on my list of things to get fixed. One day it got to the point where I just couldn't wait anymore, so I googled places and landed on Larson's.
Miss Nikki at the front was the sweetest! I explained my car was leaking oil and coolant, and she informed Mr. Pete and he took a look. They couldn't get my car fixed that day due to me coming later in the afternoon, which was fine, so i had to leave my car over night. I had my toddler with me and planned to take an Uber home, and Miss Nikki was so kind and drove us home herself. I didn't live very far. The gesture made me so incredibly grateful to her
Mr. Pete called me a few hours later and told me where the oil leak was coming and the coolant leak and quoted me a price. My husband and I do basic maintenance on our cars that's how I knew I had an oil leak. I just couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Mr. Pete is honest and fair in pricing. I looked up the things he said was wrong, and based on the parts that needed to be replaced, it aligned with what I already knew was wrong with my car. They don't sell you extra stuff, they're not pushy. I even asked Mr. Pete if the oil leak repair could wait. He told me it's not severe right this moment, but it would need to be taken care of in the very near future. He wasn't trying to sell me on the gloom and doom to get my business. I also requested quotes from other places and his pricing was also the best.
They are military friendly, which was also nice. The best thing was the follow up call from Miss Nikki a week later, and a handwritten Thank You not from Mr. Pete. My experience with Larson's was so personal, and I really appreciate the details and steps they take to make their customers feel valued, and happy with the work they received. They are a business that values their community and the people in it, and they take great pride in their work. I highly recommend them. - Crystal S (5 star review found on Yelp)
I needed a mechanic in SA and asked my friends who recommended and said they trust this dude. So I took my car there, had my tranny fluid changed and of course walked out with a list of things that need attention. He walked me out to the garage and showed me the things he was concerned about and helped me prioritize what to get fixed. My car is 10 years old so you expect that. What I didn't expect was receiving a handwritten Thank You card from the owner of the shop. If anyone asks me for a local mechanic this is the dude that I am going to send them to. - Kris L (5 star review found on Yelp)
Previous shop mangled the AC on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Read the reviews for Larson's and took it to them. Told them the history of the AC for the vehicle which was a mess, and told them I wanted it restored to manufacturer specs if possible. Also, told them I needed them to be honest and had experience with detecting dishonesty. They returned two estimates for getting it working, a lower estimate, and another higher estimate for getting it back to manufacturer specs with 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on parts and labor. I went with the higher estimate. They returned the car to me with all the replaced parts as I asked, and everything worked as I'd hoped. They were honest, efficient, and got a major job done in just a couple days, once they began work. I was very pleased. - David R (5 star review found on Yelp)
